and It’s officially official: After a week of rumors, so-called confirmations and subsequent take-backs, it has been confirmed that both Katherine HeiglT.R. Knight will be staying on Grey’s Anatomy.
That comes straight from the mouth of the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, and not its rumor creator James Pickens.

Castmember Pickens recently caused quite a stir when he “confirmed” the departure of Heigl and Knight.
But Rhimes took time out at Thursday night’s NAACP Image Awards — where she and her show won — to personally refute the rumors.
She told People, “That was a very interesting rumor, and it’s not true. That was absolutely taken out of context. Things happen, and … I think rumors become fact very easily. And you know I don’t like to tell you what’s going to happen on the show — but that is a rumor.”
Pickens, who was on hand at the ceremony, had his own explanation: “We’ve been living with these rumors for a long time. When the question was posed to me, I was more trying to congratulate Katie and T.R. on whatever they were going to do. But yeah, I don’t have any special info about it either way.”
So … oops!

If the apocalypse is here, we might as well enjoy it. Stomp down the doors of your comfort zone. Hook up with unlikely new friends. Get noisy. Have a party before the flames consume us all.

That seemed to be the prevailing attitude during the 2009 Grammy Awards telecast Sunday night. Times are beyond tough for the music industry and cultural endeavors in general. Neil Portnow, the president of the awarding organization, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, said as much during his admirably political welcoming speech. (Best moment: his call for President Obama to create a Cabinet position for secretary of the arts.)
Yet instead of a solemn mood, this jam-packed program offered the tonic of overstimulation as star after star took the stage and sold themselves hard, presenters proved as effusive as teleprompter readers can possibly be, and trophy winners were shoved aside to make room for more and more music.

New Delhi, Jan 6 : Demi Moore is a “diva” who treats gay men like handbags, says Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone.

The 48-year-old, who has openly confessed that he’s homosexual, last year released a tell-all book entitled ‘Life With My Sister Madonna’.
According to Ciccone, who declared in his book that the Queen of Pop is a control freak, a narcissist and a cheapskate, said the ‘Striptease’ star stopped speaking to him when she met her now-husband Ashton Kutcher.
After meeting at a Los Angeles Kabbalah centre, Demi and Ciccone became firm friends.
However, when Demi’s relationship with Ashton started to get serious, Ciccone claims she immediately dropped him, report the China Daily.
He told Britain’s Observer newspaper: “A certain kind of diva carries a gay man around like a handbag, like an accessory. And then once they find the right straight guy, they don’t need a male companion any more.”
This isn’t the first time Ciccone has spoken out against the 46-year-old actress. Last year he revealed she squirted her breast milk at his lesbian friends during a night out.
He said: “We went out and Demi was dancing up on me and humping me from behind. The one part that’s not in the book is that she was lactating at the time and she was squirting breast milk at my lesbian friends… the lawyers didn’t think it was wise for me to print that.”
